Hello, and welcome. I’m Jingyun.
I’m from Jiangsu Province in China’s Yangtze River region, known for its rivers and gardens. I live in Beijing now.
I used to work in the internet industry. These days I’m a freelancer focused on media projects and financial investing. I’m learning English and I’ve always been drawn to traditional Chinese culture. I’ve lived in China for over 40 years and traveled widely around the country.
I also have a wonderful 10‑year‑old son. His English is already better than mine.
That’s why we started this site together. We want to share Chinese culture—festivals, food, travel, and everyday life—with readers around the world in clear, natural English.
The site is still young, and there’s a lot to build. Over the next six months to a year, we hope to grow it into a practical, friendly resource about China.
